Flight Planning

You are ready to plan your next flight. While your competitors must rely on outside sources for all the weather, fuel burns, payload, distance and international data, you get it all done at once with AirData, Baseops flight planning company.

AirData offers you the only PC-based, portable flight planning system of its kind, bringing you information over ordinary telephone lines through a Hayes modem, avoiding the need to invest in a lot of equipment. AirData provides you with up-to-the-minute intelligence, in an easy to understand graphic format that allows you to generate all the flight plans you need, customized to your specifications, in-house, at a low cost.

Corporate and commercial carriers may license the software in a variety of ways, depending on their individual operations and needs, while retaining full, private control of their data. Nothing could be easier: you input the origin and end points of your flight, your aircraft's specifications (which are painstakingly loaded as a permanent file per the manufacturer's operating manual), variables and fuel needs, and within minutes you will have available all pertinent information. Based on feedback received from the crew, biases are then added to the data, to account for each aircraft's individual performance.

Armed with a database of ATC preferred routes, client preferences and weather forecasts, AirData's system offers hundreds of flight plans, allowing you to select the one best suited for your needs. The system consistently generates the optimum route between point of origin and final destination, including all necessary information about weather, overlay of countries/FIR boundaries along your intended route of flight, great circle routes and optimum routing, automatically calculated based upon the optimum factors for your specific flight. You can make changes in flight plans or performance data as you desire, or you may choose to have AirData continue to run your plans for you. AirData even evaluates several possible routes under several possible conditions for several possible aircraft, a very handy feature for companies with multiple aircraft.

Whether you fly a few times per week or thousands of legs per month, AirData has the specialized expertise to help you simplify and streamline your flight planning requirements.
