How to Apply
You will use the Global Opportunities section to view available positions, create a resume profile and submit your application. There are four main steps in the World Fuel Services online application process:
Step 1: Gather your information
Before you begin creating your resume profile, have the following information ready:
- Contact information
- Education history
- Work experience
- Honors, certifications, technical skills, and other job skills
- References
- Cover Letter
If you have your resume in a Word or PDF format, the system will populate most of the necessary fields for you.
Step 2: Create a resume profile
Create a resume profile in the Career Center, found in the Global Opportunities section. You can also:
- Build an extensive skills profile
- Create job search agents for alerts on positions of interest
Step 3: Submit your application
Before submitting, make sure all information on your resume profile and application is factual and complete. Our recruiters, interviewers, and managers rely on this information throughout the recruitment process.
Note: After completing the Resume Submittal step, you will see an on-screen message stating "You have successfully submitted your resume..." Additionally, you will receive an email confirmation from careers@wfscorp.com acknowledging that we have received your resume. If you do not receive this message, you should log in and re-submit your application.
Step 4: Interview
Depending on priority and number of applicants on each specific job, and relevance of your experience, our Recruiters may contact you to review your application for a potential interview. This is a critical step to ensure selection of candidates who demonstrate our core competencies and are a right fit for the particular job role. If you are not selected, you will receive an email when the position is closed. As the website is kept up to date, we encourage you to return often to review and apply for future opportunities.
"One of the most gratifying things for all of us in the company is seeing people come in at one level and continuing to grow - to watch them express themselves in so many different ways."
